1.This water temperature sensor features a brass housing with a polished finish for metallic luster, excellent high-temperature and corrosion resistance, ensuring long-term stable operation in the coolant environment.

2.Structurally, it consists of three parts: a 2-pin connector with a black insulating sheath at the top, a hexagonal nut installation seat in the middle, and a cylindrical sensing probe with M14×1.5 standard thread at the bottom.

3.The probe is designed to screw directly into the engine coolant passage, making full contact with the coolant to ensure accurate temperature collection.

The compact design fits the original installation position perfectly, requiring no additional modification for easy installation.

Product Function Description

1.Core Function: Monitors the engine coolant temperature in real time and converts it into an electrical signal to feed back to the ECU and instrument panel.
2.Signal Transmission: Provides temperature data to the engine control unit (ECU) to control key parameters such as fuel injection quantity, ignition timing, and fan start/stop, ensuring the engine operates in the optimal temperature range.
3.Fault Warning: When the coolant temperature is too high or too low, the sensor will feed back an abnormal signal to trigger a water temperature alarm on the instrument panel, alerting the driver to inspect promptly and avoid engine damage from overheating.
